This is your chance to work with modern heavy vehicles, gain international experience, and build a rewarding career with reputable Australian companies. 🧰 About the Role As a Truck Mechanic, you will inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain a range of heavy vehicles including trucks, trailers, and buses. Your expertise will ensure reliable operations, reduced downtime, and compliance with Australian safety and performance standards. 🛠️ Key Responsibilities: ➤ Inspect, service, and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, and suspension systems in heavy vehicles ➤ Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults using manual and computer-based diagnostic tools ➤ Replace or repair worn and damaged parts to manufacturer specifications ➤ Conduct routine maintenance, lubrication, and system adjustments ➤ Perform welding, fabrication, or machining as required for repairs ➤ Maintain accurate service records and report findings to supervisors ➤ Ensure all work complies with Australian road safety and workplace health regulations ➤ Work efficiently to minimise vehicle downtime and meet operational schedules ✅ To Qualify, You Must Have: ➤ Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience repairing and servicing commercial trucks or buses (Volvo, Kenworth, Isuzu, Iveco, Fuso, Hino, UD, Scania, MAN, MACK, Mercedes-Benz, Renault, and others) ➤ Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and air brake systems ➤ Ability to operate diagnostic software and workshop tools for heavy vehicles ➤ Relevant trade/vocational certification in automotive mechanical (heavy vehicles) ➤ Good English communication skills (written and spoken) ➤ Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or in a team ➤ Can drive and has a valid driver's license. ➤ Valid passport and readiness to provide police clearance, employment records, and school documents for visa processing 🌏 Why Choose Australia? ➤ Join globally respected transport and logistics companies ➤ Clean, safe, and regulated work environments with modern workshops ➤ Competitive pay rates plus superannuation (retirement benefits) ➤ Possible pathways to permanent residency and family migration ➤ 4 weeks paid annual leave and over 10 days paid sick leave per year ➤ High quality of life, safe cities, and a diverse, multicultural community
