This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Filipino tradespeople who want to build a stable and rewarding career with internationally respected companies in Australia. 🧰 About the Role As a Rubber Liner, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining protective rubber linings on industrial equipment used in mining, processing plants, and heavy industries. The role requires precision workmanship, knowledge of rubber application techniques, and the ability to work safely in workshop and site environments. 🛠️ Key Responsibilities: ➤ Carry out rubber lining of industrial equipment including tanks, pipes, chutes, launders, valves, and conveyor components using sheet rubber, strip lining, and hand-built techniques ➤ Apply rubber using cold bonding adhesive systems and assist with or perform hot vulcanisation processes where required ➤ Select and handle appropriate lining materials (natural rubber, SBR, neoprene, EPDM, etc.) based on service conditions such as abrasion, corrosion, and chemical exposure ➤ Measure, cut, splice, and fit rubber lining materials to complex geometries while ensuring full coverage and minimal stress points ➤ Prepare surfaces through grinding, sandblasting, buffing, and cleaning prior to rubber application ➤ Inspect completed rubber lining work to ensure quality standards, adhesion, thickness, and leak protection requirements are met ➤ Operate and maintain hand tools, rollers, cutting equipment, and other lining-related tools safely and effectively ➤ Follow Australian workplace safety standards, site procedures, and quality control requirements at all times ✅ To Qualify, You Must Have: ➤ Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Rubber Liner or in industrial lining applications ➤ Experience working in mining, mineral processing, industrial maintenance, or heavy engineering environments is highly preferred ➤ Knowledge of cold bonding systems, rubber compounds, and vulcanising processes ➤ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, measurements, and work instructions ➤ Familiarity with surface preparation techniques and industrial coating/lining standards ➤ Physically fit and capable of working in confined spaces, heights, and demanding industrial conditions ➤ Good English communication skills for workplace coordination and safety compliance ➤ Valid passport and readiness to provide employment certificates, training records, NBI/police clearance, and other visa-related documents 🌏 Why Choose Australia? ➤ Work with globally respected mining and industrial companies ➤ Competitive salary packages with superannuation benefits ➤ Safe, clean, and highly regulated work environments ➤ Opportunities for long-term employment and possible permanent residency pathways ➤ Enjoy work-life balance with annual leave and sick leave benefits ➤ Experience a high quality of life in modern, safe, and multicultural cities
