If you have an eye for detail and a passion for fine craftsmanship, this could be your opportunity to build a rewarding career in Australia. 🧰 About the Role As a Jewellery Designer, you will create original jewellery concepts and transform them into finished pieces using both traditional bench skills and modern design technology. You will collaborate with clients and production teams to produce high-quality jewellery that meets design, quality, and craftsmanship standards. 🛠️ Key Responsibilities: • Design custom jewellery including engagement rings, wedding bands, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and bespoke pieces. • Create technical drawings and 3D CAD models using jewellery design software such as Rhino, MatrixGold, or JewelCAD. • Produce detailed manufacturing specifications for casting, stone setting, polishing, and finishing. • Select appropriate precious metals, gemstones, and materials based on design requirements and client preferences. • Modify existing jewellery designs, perform redesigns, and prepare repair or remodelling concepts. • Work closely with jewellers, stone setters, polishers, and production teams to ensure accurate manufacturing. • Ensure all jewellery meets quality standards, design specifications, and customer expectations. • Maintain organized design files, technical documentation, and accurate production records.
